Clam Tucker~ on the 'Squam, circa 1890
Osmund "Clam" Tucker lived in and sold his clams from a shack on the Annisquam River in Gloucester. Over the years, the path down to his shack became paved with clam shells. It is called to this day Clam Alley. © Fredrik D. Bodin
