Goose Cove, Wingaersheek, and Annisquam, circa 1890

Goose Cove is a tidal cove, fed by the Annisquam River. The old mill, sitting on the causeway, was powered by the rising and ebbing tides. The hill were the cow is grazing is now forested, and it's owned by the Essex County Greenbelt. © Fredrik D. Bodin
